If you're making the trip to Orange, NSW be sure to travel on the second Saturday of the month. That's when you'll find The Orange Region Farmers Market, a regional market where farmers and food producers showcase their fresh high quality seasonal and value added produce.
 
The Farmers Market supports local primary producers, hobby farmers, and other community gardeners and associated producers as well as providing the local community with regular supplies of high quality fresh food.
 
In a time of rising grocery prices and rising quantities of imported food, the Farmers Market in Orange is your chance to meet growers and producers and experience the glorious taste of fresh produce the way nature intended. Locals and visitors alike benefit from a vast variety of seasonal fruit and vegetables, pork, free range chicken, venison, duck, smoked and fresh trout, cheeses, gourmet preserves, artisan bread, mustard, honey, olives and olive oil, hazelnuts, verjus and much more.
 
In addition to the Farmers Market is a special week is set aside every year to celebrate the produce of Orange. F.O.O.D. Week (Food of Orange District) features a huge Night Market - an event not to be missed.
 
The Orange Farmers' Market as a not-for-profit community activity organiwsed by Rotary Club of Orange Daybreak.
