Distance

an experience of everyday life

This land is so vast it changes the idea of closeness, for me.

People I feel close to and with who I have shared the best times of my life are at the same time, people who live miles away. Contact with them is via email facebook text and the occasional conversation.

This is Australian for me. I'm a kiwi and NZ is slightly smaller....the distances between people slightly less though not less expensive to cover.

These people close to me can have completely different lives in completely diverse environments, yet we remain close. It is amazing.
