No, not an Australian garden !

an experience of

At Cowra there's the most beautiful garden - A Japanese garden - all 12 acres of it - you could be in Japan ! And this time of the year with the cherry blossum out it's just a picture. We found Cowra such a friendly town, too. There's a reason the garden was made: during the second World War, over 1000 Japanese who were imprisoned at Cowra tried to escape. Many were killed, and also 4 Australian guards. The garden is a memorial to that awful day and all the men who died.
