Julia Benny from England, currently in Sydney

When I first came to Australia we lived In Melbourne and we thought it would be fun to go to Queensland for a holiday. We set out with 2 friends, also migrants, but we had no idea of the distances. Eventualy we arrived in Sydney, after what seemed an interminable journey. We never reached Queensland, or even the border. Sydney was far enough. People from oversease have no idea of distances here. It certainly is a WIDE, BIG and brown land.
