"What happens when I get involved?"

Being Australian will send you an email confirming your nickname and password (so please be careful when typing in your email address). Being Australian also recommends setting your email spam filter to permit messages from 'theteam[at]beingaustralian.com.au'

When you're involved, you can immediately begin sharing your experiences with others.

"Can I change my nickname to my real name?"

Absolutely! Nicknames let people get involved anonymously. To be the 'real you', simply update your Being Australian member profile with your real name. Your stories will then appear with your real name instead of your nickname.
