Dancing with the Stars - in Milson's Point, Sydney

an experience of lifestyle

I recently started ballroom dancing classes under the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Well, not exactly under it, but right next to it at the Bradfield Park Community Centre at Milson's Point.

Ballroom dancing is really fun - and fantastically good exercise. It helps to have a good instructor. Gillian Jennings, who runs Broadway Dance Studio in Milson's Point, Sydney does the teaching. Good footwear is important to. No kidding - when they say, 'Have you got your dancing shoes?', they're not kidding. I got a pair of mens Derby shoes from a family-run shop in Randwick called Salvios Dance Shoes.

So, if you're thinking of giving dancing a go, just go for it. it's fun to learn and Gillian down at Milsons Point will have you dancing in no time. And dancing with the great Aussie coathanger in view seems like a very Australian experience.
